Research, analysis and testing
Manufacturer specifications establish what a brand documents for an exact model. Our comparisons explain what those differences may mean for a purchasing decision. We have not conducted firsthand product tests. We do not claim measured comfort, speed, battery endurance, closeness or durability, and we do not publish star ratings.
How we choose topics
We favour decisions that can be resolved with useful evidence: tool category, comb range, replacement compatibility and care. We consult official product pages, manuals and part catalogues, then explain limitations. We do not turn a manufacturer’s superlative into our own performance finding. Forums can reveal questions, but do not establish compatibility.
Verification and corrections
Each sourced guide records its check date and links its factual references. A check date means source research, not a physical fit test. Exact model instructions take priority over generic family wording; conflicts remain visible. Send the model, page URL and official evidence for any correction. We review a correction before changing a guide or its verification date.
Commercial independence
No advertiser can buy a favourable verdict here. Affiliate revenue is the intended first source of funding, but there are no active affiliate links or paid placements. Programme approval will not convert a researched comparison into a tested review. Commercial links, if introduced after approval, will be disclosed near the recommendation.
What comes next
We will expand coverage when there is a distinct purchasing question and an adequate source base. We will not add near-identical model pages merely to capture keyword variations. Any future hands-on work will state who tested what, how, and with which limitations.
